About Gina

Gina Duncan is the Co-Owner of Art in Voyage, an Orlando-based travel consulting firm. Prior to starting her own business, Gina earned a long and distinguished career in the banking business, working in Central Florida since 1980. She was with Wells Fargo Home Mortgage from 1997 until her retirement in March 2011. With Wells Fargo, she served as their Area Manager of Central Florida and Regional Manager for East Florida, overseeing 26 branches,  200+ employees and a multimillion dollar annual budget. She was also the Regional Chair of Wells Fargo’s PRIDE Employee Resource Group. 

 

While with Wells Fargo, Gina served on the Board of Directors for the Home Builders Association of Mid-Florida and Mortgage Bankers Association of Central Florida. She was on the Board of Directors of the Home Builder’s Association in 1995, and Chair of the Finance Committee. Gina was a member of the Board of Directors of the Mortgage Bankers Association of Central Florida from 2000 to 2003 and the organization’s President in 2003. Gina served as Diversity Committee Co-Chair on the Human Rights Campaign’s Orlando/Central Florida Steering Committee and HRC’s National Business Council. She was also selected to attend the inaugural  HRC Women’s Leadership Conference in 2007. Gina Duncan is the current President of the Metropolitan Business Association of Orlando, Central Florida’s LGBT Chamber of Commerce representing 250 business members.

Gina has two grown children, daughter Amanda, who is a certified dog trainer, and son Brooks, who is a graduate school admissions coordinator for a local university.

She is an advocate for job growth, small business support, responsible land development, development of green energy resources, and social equality for all citizens of Central Florida. She believes in open, representative, and financially smart government, improved transportation, and an overall commitment to improving the quality of life for all Orange County Citizens.

Gina’s full range of life experiences as a parent, business professional, business owner and community leader make her uniquely qualified to be our next County Commissioner for District 5.

Personal:
Born in Cookeville, TN. Raised in Central Florida.

Resident of Central Florida, since 1980. Lived in Casselberry, Oviedo, College Park and currently lives in Thornton Park.

Two grown children, Amanda and Brooks. Other family in Central Florida – mother, two brothers and two sisters, 7 nephews and nieces, 3 great nephews and nieces.
